The newest installment of FOTW features a childhood classic, Prince Charming (obviously the one from Shrek not that pencil from Cinderella).
Although Prince Charming might be one of the main villains in Shrek 2 and 3, his flow is definitely the star of the show for me. I can’t get enough of the way that majestic hair bounces when he rides on horseback.
There is a lot to like here from a technical aspect. This is some of the fluffiest and lightest lettuce I’ve ever seen and the utilization of the middle part here is nothing short of extraordinary. I mean if I didn’t have 20/20 vision I might have mistaken those blond waves for a tiny McDonalds arch resting on top of his forehead. However, I would like to see a more dynamic back portion. Prince Charming definitely appears to suffer from a case of speed bump.* Another issue I see here is a lack of variety in style. The fluffy middle part is for sure a great look but I would love to see a nice greasy slick-back up top, while keeping the back feathered and lethal.
PS: I know these first two FOTWs have been focused on the classic variety of flow, but you can look forward to some less conventional heads of hair being featured down the road.
*Speed Bump: When hair fails to achieve good lettuce all the way around the back, instead the hair will lay flat in the middle and thus a bump is formed between the two sections of lettuce on the outside.
